Behind the Scenes in Budapest: Our Thermal Bath Shoot

The City

Budapest is a city that feels both cinematic and lived-in, grand and intimate all at once. Our crew arrived for a project with Cloud Cities, and immediately, the Danube set the stage. On one side, Buda whispered with medieval charm, Castle Hill rising above pastel facades. On the other, Pest pulsed with cosmopolitan energy, crowned by the glowing neo-Gothic Parliament. Every corner felt like a set, every moment like a scene waiting to be filmed.

The Shoot

Between filming for Cloud Cities, the RSMR crew stole away with some local models to create something personal, an impromptu shoot for our Classic Tennis Necklace. We chose the historic thermal baths, spaces layered with centuries of ritual, elegance, and steam.

At Gellért Bath, the models seemed to float beneath art nouveau mosaics and soaring glass ceilings. The steam curled around them like stage smoke, and our necklace shimmered as if lit by the city itself. At Széchenyi, golden neo-baroque walls framed wide mineral pools, where the jewelry sparkled against the haze of water and light.

The Style

The Classic Tennis Necklace—CZ set in sterling silver, available in silver or vermeil—was the perfect choice for Budapest. Elegant, timeless, and versatile, it glowed against black swimsuits and steamed glass tiles, proving it can travel from day to night, city to spa, effortlessly.

The Experience

Beyond the shoot, we indulged in the richness Budapest is known for—goulash and buttery pastries, chic Michelin-starred evenings, and the buzzing ruin bars where courtyards glow with art and music late into the night.

Budapest gave us a story, a setting, and a mood we’ll never forget. And now, our tennis necklace is forever part of that story—steeped in steam, history, and timeless style.
